“Painting Flowers.”

Today was my little brother, Georgie’s birthday. He turned six. Happy birthday, Georgie! In honor of his birthday, the parentals decided to treat him to any movie of his choice. My sister has been wanting to see “Alice In Wonderland” in 3D. So, of course she manipulated my brother into thinking that it’s only the coolest movie in the world. So, he wanted to see it.

Because he wanted to see it, it meant everyone had to see it. Originally, my mother wasn’t going to go, which meant I wasn’t going to go. No reason. I just really didn’t want to see that movie. I never saw anything special about 3D movies. I don’t know. I was more interested in seeing like “The Last Song” although I’m not Miley Cyrus’s biggest fan. That movie just looked really interesting and I had heard from others that it was heartbreaking. But no, instead, I was stuck with “Alice In Wonderland.”

The movie wasn’t all that bad, actually. Besides the pleasant part where my mother nearly ripped off my foot. But yeah. The movie was actually good. It was definitely humorous. “Off with her head!” Haha. That part still makes me laugh. The movie was getting a lot of buzz because it apparently had Johnny Depp in it. Honestly, I had never seen a movie with the guy in it until today. Yes. That means I haven’t seen those pirate movies either. He was good, though. I loved his hair. And his hat, of course xD. The cat was pretty cool too and of course the mouse! My favorite character was definitely the queen with the enormous red head. There wasn’t a single word she said that didn’t crack me up. “Have you met my fat boys?” Oh, I loved her!

At times, though I didn’t understand what was going on. Then again, that’s typical Lily. It’s nearly impossible for me to watch a movie and understand it without closed caption. Unfortunately, movie theatres don’t provide that. It didn’t really help all that much that they had an accent. Although, they were awesomeful British accent. I actually just looked the movie up and apparently, the girl who played Alice is actually Australian. How interesting.

Did you know I haven’t seen the original “Alice In Wonderland”? Just thought I’d mention that.

The highlight of this movie for me was the part where Alice was fighting the jabber-wocky or whatever. I don’t even know what it’s called. Anyways, the part where she flipped in the air with the sword below her and she announces “Off with his head” and chops of the monster’s head. I thought that was just so wicked. It was pretty cool.

Like I mentioned, loved the Red Queen! At the end, when they handcuffed or whatever her and that one guy and she’s just “At least, we’ll be together.” I was laughing my butt off! And Anne Hathaway was in the movie also! She’s like one of my favorite, if not my favorite actress. So, that was pretty amazing.

Overall, I actually enjoyed the movie. Gave me exactly what I’ve been needing: a good laugh.

• Me: So, tomorrow is our first day off and I'll probably just end up going to Rachel's party.
• Georgie: But we have school tomorrow.
• Me: No, we don't.
• Georgie: Yes, we do.
• Me: No, we don't.
• Georgie: Yes, we do.
• Me: No...Georgie...we don't...
• Georgie: Yes we do!
• Me: Okay fine! We do. (sighs)
• Georgie: Oh...so we seriously have school tomorrow?
• Me: (Death glare)

• Mrs. Russo: Alright...Levi...what does homozygous mean?
• Levi: ...I don't know.
• Mrs. Russo: Come on, Levi! What does homosexual mean?
• Levi: (shrugs)
• Castro: (really loudly in a sheepish voice. P.S. he's a guy) He-he!
• (The whole class cracks up and some random girl who no one knows walks into the classroom)
• Castro: (in a really gay way and with a flick of his wrist) Hey girlfriend!
• (The whole class laughs hysterically.

So
I got pushed today in chorus
Cause everyone was running to get this soundproof room
And someone pushed me
And I fell

Then, my friend was just like “oh no! Lily got hurt. She’s bleeding.”
And I thought she was just like being dramatic and overacting
So, I was just like “really, dude stop it. I’m not…”
And I look down and I have this big wound on my knee and it’s like bleeding
I barely felt it
But then my chorus teacher made me put those alcohol wipes thingie on it and I felt the burn
It sucked

I have no idea who pushed me
But no one even apologized
Except for this one friend, but then she asked me to go get her shoe

But one of my friends said it was this girl who’s a Barbie
LOL
A little info
In our group, a Barbie isn’t really like a compliment
It’s like an extremely preppy chick
Who isn’t necessary a slut, but can act or dress provocative at times
My friend, Assia says it’s a step above strippers
Yes, I know
We’re so nice
But it’s the truth

Two of friends confronted them about it
And they were just like “oh, she probably just tripped or something.”

I don’t really care
But what hurts
It’s that no one turned around to see if I was okay except for one of my friends
And what’s really sad is that one of the Barbies used to be my best friend
And even, she didn’t turn around

Anyway
I think it’s karma for me wearing a skirt today
Cause personally, I’m not the greatest fan of those thingies
I don’t usually wear them
And when I do, which is like on special occasions
It’s usually long and flowy
But no
Today, I decided to wear a mini skirt
Me and my friend planned it
But she forgot

Assia says that the preps saw me coming into their territory
And they saw how awesome my long legs looked in the skirt
And they decided to bring me down.
And I’m just like “…I like that theory, Assia. It makes me sound good.”
